The housekeeping service ensured that our room was spotless, a crucial element for a pleasant stay. However, I did notice that the bed was not very comfortable, which impacted my quality of sleep. The location of the motel on the Strand is convenient for exploring Tauranga, with easy access to restaurants and cafes. the proximity to the CBD and dining options adds to the value proposition of this establishment. the availability of free parking was also a practical feature that I appreciated. While the room was tidy and had all the necessary amenities like an electric kettle and free toiletries, the noise from the nearby train tracks was a downside. the upgrade provided by the friendly staff was a nice touch, enhancing the overall experience. In conclusion, while the Strand Motel offers good value for its central location and cleanliness, there are aspects such as comfort and noise levels that may influence the luxury aspect of your stay.
